What we collect
When you call ResumePhone, we collect the information you provide by voice — your name, contact information, work history, skills, education, and job preferences — along with a recording and transcript of the call, and the phone number you call from or provide.
Why we collect it
We use your information to create your résumé, deliver it to you by text and email, send you relevant job openings, and — with your consent — share your résumé and contact details with hiring managers and staffing agencies so they can offer you work. This sharing with employers is the core purpose of the Service, and we ask for your permission on the call before doing it.
Text messaging
By providing your phone number and agreeing on the call, you consent to receive text messages from us, including your résumé, job leads, and account updates. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. The mobile phone number you provide for text messaging will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This is separate from sharing your résumé and contact details with employers, which you separately consent to as the purpose of the Service.
Call recording
Calls are recorded and transcribed so we can build your résumé accurately and confirm your consent. By continuing the call, you consent to this recording.
Who we share with
We share your résumé and contact information with hiring managers and staffing agencies, as described above. We also use trusted service providers (for example, to generate documents, send messages, and store data) who process information on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Service and connect you with employers, unless you ask us to delete it.
Your choices
You can reply STOP to stop texts, and you can contact us to access, correct, or delete your information.
