What we collect
When you call ResumePhone or use our online form, we collect the information you provide — your name, contact information, city and ZIP code, work history, skills, certifications, education, and job preferences such as shift, pay, travel distance, and availability. For phone calls, we also keep a recording and transcript of the call and the phone number you call from or provide.
Why we collect it
We use your information to create your résumé, deliver it to you by text and email, send you relevant job openings, check in on whether you're still available, and — with your consent — make your profile available to employers and staffing agencies so they can offer you work. Connecting you with employers is the core purpose of the Service, and we ask for your permission before doing it.
How employers see your information
Employers and staffing agencies use the RP Candidate Portal to search for candidates. How you're shown depends on how you came to us:
- Public profile: if you agree to be seen by employers, your profile can be searched by any employer subscribed to the portal.
- Through an employer: if you used a phone number or web link given to you by a specific employer, your profile is visible only to that employer.
Employers who can see your profile can view and download your résumé and contact you about work. They can also:
- Copy your profile into their own hiring systems (for example, Bullhorn or Avionté).
- Send your résumé to their own clients for a specific job. When they use the portal to do this, your phone number and email are removed from the résumé by default.
- Keep private notes about you, such as marking that they've already placed you or that you weren't a fit for a role.
Once an employer copies your information into its own systems, its use is governed by that employer's own policies.
Text messaging
By providing your phone number and agreeing on the call or form, you consent to receive text messages from us, including your résumé, payment link, job leads, and periodic check-ins asking whether you're still available. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. The mobile phone number you provide for text messaging will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This is separate from making your résumé and contact details available to employers, which you separately consent to as the purpose of the Service.
Call recording
Calls are recorded and transcribed so we can build your résumé accurately and confirm your consent. By continuing the call, you consent to this recording.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers (for example, to answer calls, generate documents, process payments, send messages, and store data) who process information on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.
Saving your progress
When you use our online résumé builder, we save what you've entered once you give us your name, phone number and email, so you can finish later. If you leave before finishing, we may send you one email with a link to pick up where you left off. We don't send more than one reminder, and unfinished drafts are deleted after a short time.
Website analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how people use our website — for example, which pages they visit and where they stop in the résumé builder — so we can make it easier to use. Microsoft Clarity captures how you use the site (such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) through cookies and similar technology. What you type into forms is hidden and is not recorded. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Service and connect you with employers, unless you ask us to delete it. When you ask, we remove you from the RP Candidate Portal and delete your information from our systems. We can't delete copies that an employer has already saved in its own systems; you can contact that employer directly.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to stop our texts.
- Ask us to hide your profile from employers at any time.
- Contact us to access, correct, or delete your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time and will change the date at the top when we do.
